i asked the sme question not long ago and I cut and pasted the recipe onto another sheet, here is her response.... Cabbage soup In a big pot I usually put... 5 or 6 cups of water 2 cans of chicken broth....or not half a bag of coleslaw mix (cabbage carrots etc) large can of diced tomatos 1 large onion cut up 1 bag of frozen mixed veggies half a carton of bean sprouts (good for ya) Cut up fresh carrots, summer squash and zuchinni any leftover veggies I might have in the fridge maybe a can of Italian green beans maybe a can of okra and tomatos Parsley sage rosemary (easy on this...its potent) thyme salt and pepper I don't measure anything and you can put whatever veggies you like in it. Its low calorie and no complex carbs and its so good. You cook it for a couple of hours or so till al the veggies are tender.

This was a recipe that I had from my Weigh****cher days...hope you like it.... Jannine 357/162/157 Garden Vegetable Soup Submitted by Sylvia! There are 2 ways to prepare this soup, if you sauté your veggies, it only takes 30 minutes, otherwise you can put it in your crock pot & cook it all day. Ingredients: 1/2 cup of diced onion 2 cloves of garlic 2/3 cup of sliced carrots Here is where you sauté these over low to medium heat to soften these veggies up. 2 cups of Swanson fat-free broth 1 1/2 cups of green cabbage 1/2 cup of green beans 1 tbsp tomato paste 1/2 tsp basil 1/4 tsp oregano 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 cup diced zucchini Cook all ingredients in dutch oven over medium heat for 30 minutes. If you cook it in the crockpot, cook for 3 hours on high. If you are gone for the day, cook all day on Low. Other variations: Use all of your fresh vegetables from your refrigerator; substitute rotel tomatoes, or even add jalapenos.
