New Website

I've started a new recipe website, www.wlsgourmet.com ************ Welcome to WLS* Gourmet! I have always been a bit preoccupied with food. I love cooking, baking, food photography, recipes, collecting cookbooks, etc. While going through the WLS process, I needed to redirect my focus from full-fat, high-calorie, not-good-for-you foods to foods that fit within my limitations AND were also great tasting and easy to prepare. It was really hard finding ideas and suggestions for food I could eat in the different stages of this process. Most things I found were not in any kind of organized manner, which upset my delicate finicky nature. Thus, WLS Gourmet was born in the hopes I could spare thousands of other WLS patients the time, energy and research otherwise needed to make their experience a much easier one. For those of you who are not WLS patients, this website is a great source for healthy recipes. If they can help us lose weight and live a healthier life, then they can do that for you too. Obligatory Disclaimer: These recipes have either worked for other WLS patients or fit within most physician dietary guidelines. I am in no way suggesting that they replace your dietitian's suggestions as I do not claim to be a professional. Everyone has different diet requirements, so please follow your dietitian's guidelines. *WLS is an abbreviation for Weight Loss Surgery.

Kendra, I tried to open the site and it says site unavailable, can you send me a direct link to my email, [email protected]?? I love to cook and am always looking for new recipes. My dh is diabetic, so this way of cooking is great for both of us. Thanks, Shrinking Rhonda

Thanks for posting this. I looked it over and they all sound so good. Can't wait to start trying them. I'm 3 months out and down 40lbs and 25inches. Always looking for new ways to prepare foods that will go down fairly easy.
