Is it me just being "late again" on new product choices, :bed 'er what? Just the Cheese? brand Frying Cheese? by The Specialty Cheese Company, Inc. located in (of course) Wisconsin. Advertisement reads: "A new type of all natural cheese cubes that do not melt! Just the Cheese brand Frying Cheeses are great for appetizers and quick snacks yet fit for low-carb lifestyles. Pop the cubes in the microwave for 15 seconds for a quick hot snack. Fry them for hors d'ouevres. Put them right on the grill as a new treat for your family and guests!" Great for Low Carbohydrate Lifestyle: each serving has only 1-5 gram of carbs. Just the Cheese? brand Frying Cheese? come in four varieties: Frying Cheese --"tastes like grilled cheese without the bread!" Frying Cheese with Jalapeno --"tastes like zesty grilled cheese without the bread!" Frying Cheese with Pineapple and Mango --"tastes like French Toast without the toast!" Frying Cheese with garlic --"tastes like cheesy garlic bread without the bread!" :shrug I AM VERY CURIOUS TO KNOW WHAT YA'LL THINK! :secret

Hey Nancy B. thank you so much for your reply! What a very sweet and attractive avatar you have! I took a quick peek at your profile...lol, looks like we have a "someone in common" ~ Judy, Judy, Judy! (What a precious gal she is and sooo much fun!) Annette, who is such a dear-heart...and Prettywormen whom I really need to drop a line to...SO good to have such strong OH support! Anyway! I jumped back on this companies website last night and put together an email full of questions with a few requests. For one thing they do drop ship to you, however, I was unable to find any Nutrition Values listed on this particular kind of cheese...but then it is NEW. I also wanted to know just how they might ship this cheese! Although I don't see this product as a "staple item" as it is a bit pricey but I certainly can see a whole lot of potential in recipes! I will post more info. as I hope to hear back from them soon! Terri ^i^ P.S. At the very least we just might be able to keep one Canadian "updated" on a few new food products! LOL!

Hey Betty Jo! Thanks for the response...but are you sure we are referring to the same thing? This is a "new product line", not the crunchy snacks this Co. sells. These are not snacks at all but rather specialty cheese free from additives as regular and its friable! (An addition to cooking opposed to snacking) Do let me know if you have tried or at least seen these! Thanks!

It came in a block and you could slice it for frying, you can tell how I liked it. The garlic was like garlic bread with out the bread.

Too cool! So how did you use it, Betty Jo? ...I have all sorts of idea's about its possible uses. LOL! Also, I wrote the Company's, Customer Service, last night for the nutritional values on each flavor and already received a reply! But wrote back for permission on being able to post it on this site as well as how they might package and ship it...(I presume they do a "drop ship"). I have gotten an acknowledgment on their having looked at my second email but no word as of yet but I will be posting as soon as I hear something. Terri ^i^

sounds like something I may just love.. I sometimes take my regular ole cheese and cut off a slice and nuke it till it's all melted nicely and eat it. It seems to evaporate some tho.. so maybe frying cheese would be better.. and gotta love me some FRENCH TOAST

I would fry the garlic one and have it with lasagna that I had substituted zuccini or cabbage instead of noodles. Low carb italian at its best.
