Baked cheese as snack chips...

Does anyone know of a recipe where one can bake cheese (alone), and it comes out as a crispy snack chip? I saw this on another forum, but now I can't find it. I'd appreciate if you could help me, I LOVE cheese!

This is the recipe I copied several weeks ago from this site: Cripsy Cheese Spray a skillet with a little non-stick spray (don't need much, cheese is greasy). Get the skillet good and hot, then sprinkly some shredded cheese in the bottom of the skillet. Just a thin layer. Let it get hot and bubbly and start to turn brown. Then, with a wide spatula, flip the whole thing over and brown the other side. Take the whole piece out and lay it on a paper towel and take another one to blot up the grease. The cheese will harden fast. You can then break it into pieces for a chip-like snack. I think you can use any kind of cheese you like. Dena B.

Thanks Dena, I love cheese and the Dr. has told me more than once that I need to eat even more protein. I don't like to use the drinks as they uh you know constipate me something fierce. Linda W.

I found this on this website: http://yumsugar.com/302546 Parmesan Cheese Crisps Note: Parmesan can be replaced with other cheeses, however try to find one with low oil content. For example, Swiss will not work as it is too oily and will result in a pool of goo. Experiment and see what works best for you! Ingredients: Parmesan cheese (shredded, 1 tbsp per chip) cayenne pepper, paprika, black pepper (all optional) 1. Preheat oven to 325F. 2. Using a tablespoon measuring spoon, scoop out cheese and place into mounds on baking sheets lined with silpat or parchment paper. Note: I recommend parchment paper, as it picks up a little bit of the grease. 3. Using the back of the spoon, flatten mounds into discs. 4. If desired, sprinkle with fresh ground black pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika, or your favorite spice.
