I couldn't bear to puree anything... I have done well with deli turkey (its already so very moist) and with chicken. I use fat free sugar free gravy to moisten it up, heinz carries one that tastes great! Good luck Amanda

My surgeon suggest mixing cottage cheese in with eggs when scrambling. I got hooked on Egg Beaters a while back so thats what I use but a single regular egg works too. To my surprise, it was really really yummy! I took 1/4 cup Egg Beaters (which is equal to 1 egg) and 1/4 fat free cottage cheese and mixed them together in a bowl before cooking in a Pam coated frying pan. They come out almost runny but that is because of the cottage cheese. Just make sure you CHEW your eggs. Before surgery, I never really thought about it but I didn't really chew eggs. They kinda just slide on down. Well I found out the hard way, if you let em slide down without chewing, they plug you up and make you sick! Good luck in your search for more soft solid recipes Donna
