Any good recipes for imitation crab??
You'll LOVE this!! Shred the crabmeat and add any seasoning you like along with a little onion and/or bell pepper. Add some Ragu Alfredo sauce and some shredded cheese. Bake in oven at 350 till the cheese is good and melted. MMM it is sooo good. You can also add some tiny shrimp or scallops to it if you want.

I found this recipe somewhere???? It called for real crab, but hey i have 2 kids and thus no money. LOL SO i used imitation.

crab, mozzarella cheese mushroom and pepper.Stuff poblano pepper, replace top and grill until pepper is blackened and tender.

I don't know if you like sushi, but it's really pretty easy. I wouldn't ever do raw fish, and my rolls aren't always perfectly pretty... but they always impress my friends. I use imitation 'Krab' (lol) and make a salad... chop it up with a tiny bit of celery and just enough may to hold it together. Sometimes I use a little wasabi paste. Just a krab salad is good too... same as above with some peas, grated parmesan, salt and pepper. That's good over a bed of lettuce or shredded napa and red cabbages. Just plain in a cobb salad (sliced hard boiled egg and thousand island... maybe some shredded carrots and other salad bar-esque items....). Sometimes I just leave it in the fridge so when I get hungry I can have a bite. For some reason it really takes forever to get past my band... I have no idea why, but it works.
I have two recipes. They are YUMM-O. You can use real cr4 ab, too... but I always use the immitation crab for them.
Warm Crab Dip
1 pkg. cream cheese (you can use fat free)
1/4 cup parmesean cheese
4 medium green onions
1/4 cup lite mayo or salad dressing
1/4 cup sf apple juice
2 teaspoons splenda
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1 garlic clove
6 oz. flaked crab meat (immitation is what I use)
bread crumbs, optional
Preheat oven to 375 F. Mix all ingredients together except crabmeat in medium bowl. Stir in crab flakes. Spread mixture in ungreased pie plate or shallow 1 qt. casserole dish. sprinkle with italian bread crumbs if you would like. Bake uncovered for 15-20 min ... until hot and bubbly. Serve with crackers or small bagguette of bread. YUMMY.
Stuffed Mushrooms
Clean mushrooms with a moist paper towel. Cut off stems. Mix bread crumbs, crab meat, cream cheese, and parmesan cheese in a bowl. Add chopped mushroom stems. Stuff mushrooms with mixture. Put on cookie sheet. Top each mushroom with romano cheese (or cheese of choice). Drizzle a little EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) on the mushrooms. Bake for 10-15 on 350F or until mushrooms are cooked through.
They aren't the healthiest recipes.. but realy good for parties
