I am looking for a recipe that has cottage cheese, SF Cool Whip, and SF Jello (some may add fruit). Has anyone tried it and exactly how nutritious is this if the SF ingredients are used along with lowfat or FF cottage cheese? If so, have you added any other ingredients like SF marshmallows or anything else? I am getting a little bored with eating the same things all the time and need something new. Thanks, Regina

I've make this but substitute sugar-free vanilla pudding for the jello. I also add a dash of vanilla extract. It may increase the calorie count but it also increases the protein and calcium. I can tolerate a bit of sugar so I sometimes add a few finely chopped maraschino cherries for taste and color. I'm having this for lunch today, as a matter fo fact!

Hi Regina, I use SF orange jello, reg cool whip (I find the lite to be soupy) and cottage cheese. I add mandarin oranges, pineapple, chopped walnuts and unsweetened coconut. I've done it w/ SF strawberry jello and fresh sliced strawberries. My fav is w/ the orange jello. Take care, Carey

Lime Salad 1 box SF LIme Jello 1 small can crushed pineapple 16 oz small curd, low fat cottage cheese 1 container SF Coolwhip Mix dry jello with the cottage cheese. Stir in drained, crushed pineapple and fold in the cool whip. Store in frig. This is such a great recipe. You can use any flavor jello you like I suppose. Sometimes I use strawberry but my favorite for this recipe is lime. The lime and pineapple make a great flavor combination!!!
