meatball recipes??
I live by my mom's recipe... can't give exacts...never measure... 2 lbs of ground beef, 2 eggs, slices of bread that have been soaked up water, parsley, grated cheese, garlic powder. Mix together...with your hands... roll into balls...and fry. (can be baked)...

Greek Meatballs
(Ground turkey with garlic, mint, and oregano)
Servings: 6
1 pound turkey breast, boneless and skinless, ground
1 large onion, minced
1 large egg
¼ cup dried parsley
2 tablespoon dried oregano
3 tablespoon dried mint flakes
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
First sauté onions until clear and golden. Spray your pan with non-stick spray first.
Next place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl including the onions.
Next shape meat mixture into meatballs and slightly flatten them.
Bake at 375F for 25 minutes turning once. (smaller meatballs may take less time and larger meatballs will take longer).
As soon as meatballs are done lightly salt them.
Serve with Greek Bean Salad and a side of Tzatziki.

Cranberry Chili Meatballs
1 bottle of chili sauce
1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 box/bag 2 - 3 lbs. fully cooked meatballs
Turn crock-pot on low heat. Pour chili sauce into crock-pot. Add whole cranberry sauce and stir together in crock-pot; gently blending. Add in frozen meatballs and coat meatballs with mixture.
Cover and heat on low for 6 to 8 hours or until hot and bubbly and centers of meatballs are hot. Serve in crock-pot dish or pour over to a deep bowl.
MEATBALLS WITH SAUCE - serves 6
2 lbs prepared meatballs (your recipe or frozen, thawed)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
26 oz jar of spaghetti sauce
1. Heat oil on skillet.
2. Cook onions until softened.
3. Add garlic, cook a minute more.
5. Combine meatballs, onions, and spaghetti sauce in crockpot.
6. Cook on low 4 hours.
This is good plain, with pasta, and on sandwhich rolls.
CREAMY MEATBALLS WITH VEGGIES
8oz frozen meatballs, thawed
8oz refridgerated red skinned potato wedges
8oz frozen loose-pack stir-fry veggies
1 10oz can cream of mushroom (or onion) soup
1/2 cup of water
1/4 cup sour cream
1. Combine meatballs, potatoes, and veggies in crock pot.
2. Mix soup and water together and pour over meatballs and veggies.
3. Cook on LOW 5 hours.
4. Remove 1/4 cup of cooking liquid and mix with sour cream. Pour back into crock pot. MIx to combine and serve.
