Sub salad
I got a variation of this recipe off of another site and absolutely love it!
Deli roast beef luncheon meat ( 4 slices, 11 grams protein)
small chunk mozzarella cheese
1/2 roma tomato
1/4 avacado
1/2 slice well toasted low carb bread ( I found some that have 5 protein)
1 tsp dill pickle relish
f/f miracle whip
salt and pepper to taste
slice and chop everything as small as you like, mix together with the mayo minus the toast...then add the toast once mixed together. It's yummy! You could scale it down, add, take away, or make your own variation to suit your taste or needs. With what I use, it's roughly 14 or 15 grams of protein.
Thanks for the recipe. Just FYI - I ran this through Accuchef for the nutritional info and here's what it gave me....just note that it doesn't have info for low-carb bread so I subbed whole grain instead. I also had to ballpark amounts for the tomato (I used 2 oz.) and the mozzarella (I assumed 3 oz. part skim).
