BBQ sauce question
I've been looking for a low carb, sugar free BBQ sauce and have yet to be successful.
I did find catsup but no luck as of yet w/ the BBQ sauce.
I Googled low carb, sugar free BBQ sauce and did find a few sites.
The only prblm is, is that it cost almost as much to have it sent/delivered as it costs for the product.
If possible I'd like to purchase it @ a local grocery store and not on the net.
Wish someone offered samples like they do protein just in case it's yucky.
Basically, I am looking for something in a regular mild type flavor VS hot or spicy as my pouchy becomes grouchy w/ foods that are too spicy.
Thanks in advance to whoever can help me out.

I use canned manwich sauce in place of bbq sauce now. I think it has a few carbs, but not much for the serving size of 1/4 cup.

I make my own, and if you use a low carb ketchup it would be even lower carb. It was my mothers recipe and I chang it slightly since my RNY. I use the splend brown sugar blend, and the worchestshire can be lessened th evinegar can go up, I tend to like the zip that it gives the sauce it really depends on your taste.. This sauce we use for sloppy joes, dipping you name it.
1 c ketchup
1/2 c water
3 tbls brown sugar
2 tbls yellow mustard
5 tbls worchestshire sauce
3 tbls cider vinegar
Mix all ingrediants well in sauce pan and simmer till warmed through. When done it keeps well in fridge for next time. I put it in a ketchup type squeezer(just labeled BBQ)
