Pork Chops with Applesauce and green beans

Again this is a recipe that you can make for 1 or for 100. Boneless pork chops seasoned with light salt and pepper Heat a non-stick skillet ( I use cast iron ) drizzle about 1 tsp olive oil in the pan then sear the meat on both sides. Add some unsweetend apple juice to the pan, reduce heat, cover and simmer in the juice. Simmer until the meat is cooked through, I use chops about 1/2 inch thick and it takes about 20 min, I turn them to keep them from sticking to the pan. You can add more apple juice or some water if the pan gets dry. I steam cook the whole frozen green beans, I do not add any seasoning to them. If you want to dress them up, you can toss into a pan after steaming them and saute them in minced garlic with oilve oil. Once the chops are cooked serve them with a scoop of unsweetned apple sauce right on top of the warm meat. I use room temp apple sauce that comes in the snack size cups, usually one cup of apple sauce for 2 chops.
