White Chicken Chili
2 cans Bush Great Northern Beans (drained)
2 (5 oz) cans chicken breast (drained and seperated with a fork) I use 1 large can of Tysons Chicken
1 large sweet onion (chopped)
3 gloves garlic (pressed)
1 tsp olive oil
1 can 98% FF Chicken Broth
salt (to taste)
white pepper (to taste)
1/2 Tbsp Chili powder ( I use closer to a tablespoon, this is really according to your taste)
1/2 tsp oregeno
1 jalapeno (chopped fine) (I chop 5 0r 6 slices that come in a jar)
1 can green chili peppers (optional..I do not use these in this recipe)
Shredded Colby Jack (or your favorite cheese shredded)
Place olive oil in the pan you are going to cook the chili in. Add onions and garlic, saute until tender. Add drained beans, chicken and broth. Stir and add seasoning. Bring to aboil, reduce heat and simmer about 30 minutes. Mixture will thicken slightly. Once heated through, top your bowl with shredded cheese.
