Hi all. I am 9 days out and will be starting pureed stage tomorrow. We have a party coming up in 2 weeks and I am in need of some ideas to take to a party that will be dominated by kiddos of all ages. I want to take stuff that I can eat too. Any ideas????? Thanks all.

Here is a dip that you can eat, trust me I have eaten plenty of it. I think the kids would like it as well. Chili Cheese Dip 2 blocks of low fat cream cheese 1 can of Hormel Chili with beans 1 bag of LF cheddar cheese shredded 1 bag of Tostitos Let the Cream cheese soften a bit then take it and smear it on the bottom of a rectangular casserole dish Make a even layer of it across the bottom. Then take the can of chili and pour it over spreading it out evenly. The cover with shredded Cheddar Cheese Bake in the oven 325 for about 15 mins or until the cheeses have melted Then you serve it with Tostito chips. On pureed I would just eat the dip it is all protein

7 layer dip is always a good one. Sometimes they call it santa fe pie too. You can even buy it in the store if you are not up to making sometning. Chili is a good one as well. It is not on your pureed stage but check with your surgeon. Mine did not have a pureed stage so that one was ok with me at that time. Try going on phili cream cheese website and looking at dips. That should have a ton of great ideas. I hope that helps. Good luck on your journey. Melissa
