mmmmm...crock pot beef stroganoff

I just had my gallbladder removed 5 months post op and had to get some ideas for cooking ahead together for DH while I was recovering. This one was great for the both of us (just no noodles or rice for me) 2 lbs. ground chuck 1 large packet dry french onion soup mix 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 3 c. ho****er 2 t. garlic powder 1 T. fresh cracked pepper Brown hamburger and drain add to other ingredients in the crock pot. Cook at least 6 hours. Serve over egg noodles or hot rice. Or neither for WLS post ops. SOOO creamy and wonderful flavor. Made quite a large amount.
