1-On the ff refried beans, add a small amount of mild enchilada sauce and a bit of grated cheese. It defianatly perks up the flavor.
2-Combine some tuna, chicken broth and puree it really well, then add a bit of milk, some Molly McButter and heat it up in the microwave. Finally, add a little bit of instant potato flakes to give it some texture.
3-You can also so the same thing using deli ham (remove any stringy fiber which shows up as a shiny white line in the ham). Just cut that little bit out and chop the ham up before putting it in the blender. I even added a tiny bit of well cooked broccoli to mine.
4-Don't forget about eggs. Hardboil them for 7 minutes and cool quickly. They can be deviled or just mashed with some mayo and a tiny bit mustard. They are a great source of protein.
