Hey everyone- I am finding myself really hungry about 2-3 hours after lunch. I am trying to make good choices in terms of having a snack. Anybody have any ideas for snacks that are high in protein, low in cals and low in carbs? Here is the catch...no cheese = ) Any ideas would be really, really helpful!! Thanks Amanda

Picked this up off a website a while back--- Pepperoni Chips Place a single layer of Hormel Turkey Pepperoni slices on a microwave safe plate with paper towels underneath and over the top of the pepperoni. Microwave for approximately 1 minute 30 seconds. If your microwave does not have a turntable, rotate plate every twenty seconds. Cool on paper towels. Serving: 17 pepperoni chips Calories:80, Fat: 4 grams, Protein: 9 grams, Carbs: 0 grams Best Wishes, Mike

Peanut butter and celery ( I use the peanut butter with flax that I get from walmart it has great nutrition ratios) Roll up's 2 slices roast beef, spread with reduced fat cream cheese (only 1 carb per serving) then lay one or two canned asparagus spears down the middle and roll them up. ( I take these as horderves when I go to a party so I know I have something I can eat) Finger Jello sugar free jello any flavor add a packet of knox unflavored gelitene spray a 8x8 dish with some light pam or other oil spray then wipe with a napkin to spread it around and soak up extra. the knox makes the texture firm so you can cut into squares and eat with your fingers.. my kids love when I make a few colors and mix the squares into a bowl.
