Grilled Salmon (serves 2)

1/4 cup soy sauce 1-2 tsp. red wine 1/8 tsp. ground ginger 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper 8 oz. salmon steaks or fillet Optional: for garnish, dill weed or parsley with some lemon slices 1- Combine soy sauce, red wine, ginger, and black pepper in a zip top plastic bag. Close and shake to mix ingredients. Add salmon, squeeze out excess air, and seal. Refrigerate, turning frequently to keep all sides in contact with the liquid, for 2 hours or more. 2- Preheat the grill for medium high heat. 3- Cook about 5 minutes per side on a hot grill using extra marinade for basting sauce. Note: this can also be cooked under the broiler. Avg. per 3 oz serving: 99 calories, 18g protein, 0 carbs,

Dear Shirley, First, how did your surgery go last week? I hope all is well with you. This recipe sounds simple and wonderful. My husband and I are trying to increase our fish meals to 4 per week and I'll definitely try this one. Wishing you well on your weight loss journey. Mary
