Help: Lost the "wendy's recipe" for chili

here you go I make this all the time I LOVE IT!!! Wendy's Chili 2 pounds Ground beef 1 Can tomato sauce -- (29 ounces) 1 Can kidney beans w/liquid -- (29 ounces) 1 Can pinto beans w/liquid -- (29 ounces) 1 medium Onion -- diced 2 Green chili -- diced 1 Rib celery -- diced 3 medium tomatoes -- chopped 2 teaspoons Cumin powder 3 tablespoons Chili powder 1 1/2 teaspoons Black pepper 2 teaspoons Salt 2 cups Water Brown the beef and drain the fat off. Crumble the cooked beef into pea size pieces. in a large pot, combine the beef plus the remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer over low heat. Cook stirring every 15 minutes for 2-3 hours.

Hey Stylz~ Do you think once I brown my beef that I could put it all in my crockpot and let it simmer all day?

hiya Heather! yes, you can cook it in a crockpot after browning the meat! you could cook it for hours, the longer you do the more flavors combine.. mmmmmmmmmmm

"Wendy's" chili 1 automobile 1 hungry person 1 dollar and some change 1 Wendy's drive through window Combine all and order at the speaker. Please pull through to the 2nd window. (Why don't they use the first one if its there?) Give the dollar and change away. Recieve small chili in return. Make sure you have spoon. Pull out of drive through lane, park, eat and enjoy! sorry just had to do it!

GREAT recipe.......I use it often..........and there's nothing to clean up after!
