High Protein Pancake
I got this recipe out of a fitness magazine and just adjusted the quantities to suit my needs.
1 cup quick oatmeal (not cooked)
1 cup lowfat cottage cheese
1 cup egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinamin
Blend ingredients together in blender. Cook like a regular pancake.
I eat these with sugar free syrup, but fruit would be good too.
This recipe makes about 4 pancakes so I usually just use a 1/4 of each item (except the vanilla and cinamin I still use 1 tsp of each).
These almost taste like regular pancakes, of course I'd rather have the real thing, but these are great when I'm in the mood for a treat!
