Cookbook???
I have compiled over 300 diabetic and sugar free recipes that I have been asked to publish. I am considering it... The cost per book would be about $17.00. Is that too much for a cookbook? Would people buy it at price? Any opinions would be appreciated... I really don't know whether to risk it or not... THANKS FOR THE INPUT!!!
Daniel, my question to you is what will make your book stand apart and any better than all the others? There are plenty that are a lot less expensive so what is the appeal of yours? I think if you can answer that with a hot selling point, then you have a chance! Best of luck in your venture, Melinda
I just bought a cookbook that was designed specifically for wls people...I paid $16...so i think people will pay it...especially if it is marketed for the WLS people. The last time I went to Barnes and Nobles, there were alot of cookbooks for diabetics and low fat but not specifically WLS. Good Luck and if you decide to do it, let me know. I would consider buying.

Hi Daniel,
If you can gear the recipes geared toward WLS folks that would be great!
But if it comes out as a diabetic book, than there are already tons of those.
but if you can create a cookbook with high protein, low sugar recipes for all stages, how wonderful - i think we would all buy it and $17. is not bad for 300 recipes!!
