I am looking for an easy crockpot chicken dish that does not use cream of mushroom soup (I don't care for mushrooms). I also need to be able to put everything in the pot at 6am and not worry about it til 4pm. Any ideas would be appreciated! Christine

EASY CROCKPOT CHICKEN 4 slices bacon 4 chicken breast salt and pepper to taste 8 oz. sour cream 1 or 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup 1 Tablespoon. flour 4 oz pimentos (small jar) cooked rice. Wrap one slice of bacon around a chicken breast. (you can use 4 or 5 breasts). Salt and pepper each breast. Place in the bottom of a crock pot. In a bowl, mix 8 oz. sour cream 1 can cream of chicken soup, pimentos and flour. Pour over chicken, cook on high 6 or 7 hours. If you want more gravy add another can of cream of chicken soup instead of 1 can. Pour over rice.

Here's a thai chicken recipe that I tried that was yummy. 1 pound chicken breasts (boneless, skinless) 1 jar garlic and lime salsa 1/4 to 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter. Place chicken in bottom of crockpot. Stir salsa and peanut butter. Pour over chicken. Cook on low 6-8 hours or until done. Simple and good. I might just make it this week........

Hi Christine! I have a recipe that came from a girl at work who was doing Weigh****chers. 4 Boneless skinless chicken breasts (put those in the crockpot) Pour on top: 1 Can Cr of Chicken soup 1 can of corn (drained) 1 can of black beans (drained) 1 jar of salsa or picante sauce ( I use medium flavor for more spice) 1/2 to 1 jar of taco sauce (I use the medium for more flavor too) Cook on low til you get home and then use 2 forks to shred the meat. I have served it over noodles or brown rice. It's real easy to throw together, especially in the a.m. I leave the house at 6:30am and don't get home til 5pm, so mine cooks a LONG time!! Karen

I wanted mine a little more juice so I added tomatoes, you can mix it up anyway you want to. Crockpot Stuffed Peppers Recipe 6 large Green Bell Peppers -- tall shapes 1 pound Ground Beef, extra lean 1 cup Rice -- uncooked 1 large Onion -- chopped 1 large Carrot -- shredded 1 teaspoon Beef Bouillon granules 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon Pepper 1 can Condensed Tomato Soup 1 can Water Cut the top off and remove seeds from green peppers. Wash and set aside. Combine ground beef, uncooked rice, onion, carrot, bouillon, salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Any other seasonings that you like may also be used: oregano, parsley, garlic powder, etc. Stuff each pepper about 2/3 full (rice will need room to swell up). Stand the peppers side-by-side in the slow cooker. In a small mixing bowl, combine tomato soup and water, and pour mixture over the peppers. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. I haven't tryed this one yet but sure looks easy enough! Crockpot Cowboy Stew Recipe 1 1/4 lbs beef stew meat 4 unpeeled potatoes , cut into 1" cubes 1/2 cup chopped onions 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1 (28 oz) can baked beans in bbq sauce Mix stew meat thru pepper in crockpot. Spread beans over meat mix. Cover and cook on low heat 8-10 hours until beef is tender. Special Crock Pot Chicken Caccíatore 1 cup (one 8 ounce can) tomatoes, finely chopped & undrained 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can Healthy Request Tomato Soup 1½ teaspoons Italian seasoning ½ teaspoon dried minced garlic ½ cup (one 2.5 ounce jar) sliced mushrooms, drained ½ cup chopped green bell pepper ½ cup chopped onion 16 ounces skinned & boned uncooked chicken breast, cut into 4 pieces DIRECTIONS: In a slow cooker container sprayed with olive oil-flavored cooking spray, combine undrained tomatoes, tomato soup, Italian seasoning, & garlic.
