Topic: RE: liquid diet to get back on track
The plateau buster diet is different than the liquid. If you search for Plateau Buster diet on OH a lot of posts will come up along with some sample menus .  I have done this a couple of times and it really did help, it's pretty much like doing the induction phase of Atkins. I have been yo-yoing the same pounds for over a year now so I know how you feel.
I have posted the Plateau Buster Diet below. Good Luck!

***
1. Do this for 10 days to break a plateau.
2. Drink 2 litres of water a day.
3. You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day (some suggest at least 60 and up to 80 gr).
4. You may consume up to 3 oz of the following high protein foods, 5x a day.

Beef
Pork
Chicken
Turkey
Lamb
Fish
Eggs
Low-fat Cheese
Cottage Cheese
Plain Yogurt or Artificially Sweetened
Peanut Butter
Beans / Legumes
You may also have:
Sugar-Free Popsicles
Tea or Coffee (decaf only)
Sugar Free Jello
Broths / Boullion
Crystal Light Drinks

5. If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!!
6. Keep a food diary and try to get up to 30 mins of exercise daily.

Is the Plateau Buster diet the same thing. I think that may be what I read about in the OH magazine. when I went back to reread the article online, I could not find it. Is there a place I can find that info on that diet? thanks for your help! I have been stuck at loosing 80lbs for about 6mo, Need to go down atleast another 30. It looks like you are doing well!

I don't believe there is really a name for it. Most people just consider it to be getting back to the basics, which is acting like you are just out of surgery and following the stages you did originally. ie, liquids for 1 weeks, soft foods, etc. The Plateau Buster diet is something people do also. Good Luck!

Topic: WEDNESDAY GRATEFUL POST
  Good Wednesday Morning Everyone,

Hope everyone is having a amazing week.   Mine has been pretty busy and is going by quickly.    Today I am so grateful for the 4 seasons.    Where I live in Texas we don't always get to see all 4 of the seasons.   Usually we go from summer to winter and skip fall ( leaves changing at least ) all together.   Last year we actually did experience changing of leaf colors and it was beautiful.    Summer is my least favorite season but I endure it every year anyway.   Hope you are having a great week and are planning a great weekend.    PLEASE share with us what you are grateful for today.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

Topic: TUESDAY GRATEFUL POST
  Good Morning Everyone,

Beautiful morning here in Texas where I live.   Nice cool breeze although I know it probably won't last.    We all have so very much in our lives to be grateful for.    I am right now baking cookies and alot of them for the Teen Challenge Men in Azle.    I go there every tuesday night for their open chapel and take cookies, brownies, etc. for these very special men.   They don't get home baked goods other than when I take them some.    They look forward to every tuesday night and to be honest....I look forward to them too.   My 26 yr.old son was there and was transfered to the San Antonio center.    The men thought that when my son left they would NEVER see me again.....I told them I would not abandon them.    I take cookies to the San Antonio men also.    They love them as well and told me I needed to move down there.    LOL   I think they want more cookies.   LOL
I am SO grateful for the chance to make these guys who are fighting to overcome their addictions to drugs, alchol and other substances a little happier with my cookies and if my son isn't here for me to give him hugs.....I can give these guys hugs and they love it.      SO I am grateful today for baking cookies for some men in need and giving them hugs and making their lives a little brighter while they are in the Teen Challenge program.    PLEASE share if you will what you are grateful for today.

Hugs and blessings ~~ Vivian
