\Just read your posting about the shoulder pain. Is there a process or procedure that can eliminate this that you have come across? Does exercise seem to hinder or help in what you have read. I'm on pain meds for it, and don't want to do this the rest of my life. Got banded 2 weeks Wed., going great except for that.
I'm not asking you for medical advice , I thought your answer was interesting, and will ask my DR. about it.

I had surgery 4/27, and I was so appreciative of the site. Any question you have,(except a medical problem) these guys are here to answer. Don't feel shy about asking, we all had different ptoblems. Someone out there had yours. So glad you have joined us, Good Luck on Pre-op. Talk soon.

No I just put 1/2 of it aside and ate the right portion. I made a conscious effort to not eat more than the right portion, but I drank water in the evening when I felt hungry. Thanks for asking. I am going to just drink water this weekend even if I feel I could eat. I was not able to get an appointment yet, she left early, unexpectedly so I left a voicemail for her and she will call me Monday I am sure with an appointment time.

I have a treamill that Ive been on a couple of times, but have been going walking round in stores, doing yardwork, walking to and from the bathroom at work....My pedometer died out so Ive got that charged up ready to start using it tomorrow (it only reads from midnite to midnite) from when I get up and track my daily steps...

I'm in the same boat, S.M. I just found out it's a realize band. I'm very excited about it and getting pumped up for it, finally. My surgery date is May 24th. Gotta start my liquid diet this coming Tuesday. 
I've been robbed! My grandbaby stole my heart! She just raised her hands and I surrendered.

When did you notice your hair thinning? I was banded on March 9 and have not noticed a big difference yet.

I am very glad you decided to talk to your doctor/pa about this. Just curious, did you feel full when you ate out with the meat loaf?
