I have decided to have my band removed. Has anyone had theirs removed? Is the post op pain similar to placement surgery? thanks!

I am in the process of having mine removed, and revised to an RNY.

I can't answer your questions re: pain, maybe check out the Revision or Failed Lap Banders forum?
