What were your feelings right before surgery?
I have started to become a bit emotional as I get closer to my surgery date next Thursday. I did get light headed and was told to add a little more food in my diet. I eat an extra piece of fruit or some yogurt.
Sending lots of positive thoughts your way.
Maybe this will lighten your feelings … I had no apprehension and fear until about 30 minutes before the operation. And it had nothing to do about the operation .. well kinda it DID … so let me rephrase: It had nothing to do about the PROCEDURE, but it had to do about the OPERATION.
See I never had an operation before, and I didn’t know what to expect. Well I freaked and flipped when I was informed I need to … well .. hmmmm .. errrrr .. remove my “undergarments". I was mortified that anyone would see ... errrrrr .. hmmmmmmm .. my short comings.
I was livid and refused to remove my underwear. I was told if I didn’t I couldn’t have the operation, and I said it was fine and I was planning on leaving. Thank goodness my Sister was there to calm me down, and used the voice of reason. After I relented, and had a “****tail" (anesthesia) I could care less what happened.
OK, stop laughing!!
Good luck, and probably by the time you read this it’s be all over!!
And I too am sorry about the ‘timing" of the layoff. But I firmly believe things happen for a reason, and this could be a blessing.
