I reached a goal!

yes a 1/2 cup includes everything...1 oz of meat(protein) and 2 to 3 tsp of vegetable and potato...to equal 1/2 cup total of food.
Slowly, I realize that, but , geez...lol...yes I do use a baby spoon and I try to eat slowly...but it is really hard to do. I guess I have to get used to it, it is, after all, something I will be doing for the rest of my life...I am working on the chewing 30 (I was told 20 but...)times and putting the fork/spoon down between bites. I will get used to it I am sure. Thanks for the advice.

You will get use to eating very slow when your food gets stuck when you eat to fast.  It hurts bad.  You just learn and it becomes a habit for you.  When I'm starving and want to shovel the food down my throat I just think of that bad stuck feeling and I eat slow and chew good.  You will do it.

Breakfast went very well....ate slowly and ate the right amount. Thanks for encouragement! Gotta go to the gym now~
