I just started my SOFT foods today, so I really have no idea. I ate lots of cottage cheese on pureed foods (SMALL curd only!) so I am going to keep doing that. Lots of protein and I LOVE cottage cheese. This has given me the "excuse" to eat it every day..haha...When I went to church today, more than once I heard, "Kim you need to get new clothes, they are too big!" Silly thing is, the pants they were referring to WERE BRAND NEW. Love it! Good luck on your journey to a healthier you!

Tom , that sounds pretty much what my nutritionist has laid out for me also. Although I have a question...you mentioned "soft cooked eggs/egg beaters"...isn't egg beaters for making scrambled eggs? I was told I should not try scrambled eggs for a while yet, because some people have trouble with them getting"stuck"?. We do HAVE egg beaters in the house...I WANT to use it...any suggestions?

Kim,

FOR ME since I only eat eggs scrambled I was told Egg Beaters where fine if I didn't want to use regular eggs. But I also had to make sure the eggs were "moist", so if you like your scrambled eggs "dry" you will need to use some condiments to make them a slide down.
Good Luck on your Journey !!

My nutritionist called me to see how I was doing and so I asked HER about the Egg Beaters. She basically said what you said Tom. She said make them more omelet style, moist and "flat"...not that I disagreed with you Tom, but I just wanted to see what she said. As you ALWAYS say, "Don't take YOUR advice in PLACE OF that of your doctor or nutritionist"....
