WEDNESDAY GRATEFUL POST
Morning Everyone,
Well now it is 10 days till Christmas day. UGH LOL Can't believe it is creeping up on us. My son's and their girlfriends are screaming where is the "junk food" other than they are calling the names of what they want me to make for the holidays'. That is MY challenge over the holiday's. I always loved ( and still do ) sweets. This is the worse time of the year for me....even with me making sugar free things for me. As soon as I finish this post I will be making homemade fudge. I made peppermint bark last night. And just finished breaking it into pieces and placing it in a tin. Today I am grateful that I am very aware of what I am putting in my mouth at this time of year. I can't tell you that I do NOT eat anything that I shouldn't because that would be a lie....but I do really try to watch what I eat and the amount of it. Most of the time....a tiny taste does the trick for me. I am so grateful for my WLS tool that was given to me 5 yrs. ago. What a major blessing it has been for me to loose my weight and maintain it. Hope you are having a blessed week and please don't let the holiday eating stress you out. Do not deprive yourself but eat a "bite" of what you want and then go on and enjoy life. Feel free to add what you are grateful for if you want to. I love to hear what others are grateful for.
