I am 8 days out & finding it hard to get in the 48-64 oz of liquids along with the 64 grams of protein that I need each day. I feel full most of the time.
Can anyone give me some suggestions on how to get all this in?

Hi KK! Are you allowed mushy food?? I have a 20 oz water bottle I got at Starbucks...I fill it 3 times per day and drink the water between my three meals. As far as protein, soft-cooked eggs, tuna salad (mayo and pickle juice only), cottage cheese are my primary sources of protein. In one of my water bottles I add a packet of K20 lemonade flavor and 2 oz of Trader Joe pure cranberry juice. It has 5 gr protein per packet. Yesterday I had a scrambled egg for breakfast, my 3 oz can of tuna with 6 wheat thins for lunch, half a cup of 1% cottage cheese for a snack and 2 oz chicken thigh, a slice of polenta with 1 Tbs Trader Joe's Turkey Bolognese and parmesan cheese and a little well cooked zucchini with onions and bell pepper. I was at 103% protein for the day. The wheat thins and chicken were my new foods for the day. I measure everything and chew it to death, even the cottage cheese...lol. 30-60 min after a meal or snack I start drinking my water.

I won't be able to eat mushies until Friday. Those things sound very good when I get there. As for this week I am going to be drinking alot, it seems. I have 3 water bottles (20 oz each) that I have filled & will drink them throughout the day when I'm not eating soup or something like that.

My Nut had told me that if I am on liquids I can count them towards the 64 oz of band fluids. Like chicken broth and such counted for my fluids. You may already be getting enough fluids. Check with your Docs office you may be stressing needlessly.

As many mentioned, in the beginning all the stuff you're taking in should count towards your daily liquid intake. Even stuff like jello.

For me, what I do (especially at work) is I set my Outlook "reminder" to read DRINK and then I "snooze it" every 10 minutes - and each time that pops up I take a sip of liquid. Of course before lunch, I "snooze it for 90 minutes" which takes in account the 30 minutes before and eating and 30 minutes for lunch. By doing this, I ensure I am drinking the 64 ounces in the day.
