Hello,

Does anyone have a problem feeling full during this stage? I'm three weeks post op, but I always seem to be hungry. I am drinking protein shakes, but still the hunger lingers.

ooooh yeah....!  I'm about three weeks out, too.  And my appetite is back, and my head is screaming for more!  I'm trying to spread my little portions of food out more.  Taking the protein shakes in between "meals" when the hunger comes raging back.  Makes me pine for the days when the post-op swelling kept me full!  I won't be getting the first fill for a couple more weeks, so I'm trying real hard to make it.  I'm having trouble with getting stuff put together for work too.  And, it is real easy to forget that I have to do pureed when there's food sitting out there...I told my doctor that sometimes I puree with my teeth instead of the blender..!
You already know what fails.  You also know what works.    Pick one.

Me too. I am a little over 2 weeks out and I feel like I am eating too much. I think it is because we don't have any restriction with the band yet. Today I am eating:

Protein Shake early morning
Greek Yogurt Breakfast
Tuna and cottage cheese lunch
Protein Shake late afternoon
1 Egg with chesse for dinner

Plus fluids of course.

Is that too much?   I am just eating until I feel full, then stopping.

I am 2 months out and I remember that hungr very well. I stuck to my one cup servings and I was ok. It wasn't easy you just have to stick it out. I know it is very hard but, it will get better.

Thank you so much for your replies... I thought it was just me... But come to think of it, I thought I was supposed to only eat 1/4 cup. Maybe I'm not eating enough..

Protein shake
Pureed Chicken Salad w/fat free mayo
Pureed Pear
Still sticking with the sugar free popsicles. They are great!

I am two weeks out and today I was able to start eating solid food.  I really noticed the difference.  I felt full after half of what I thought I could eat, because the food wouldn't slide right through.  I was thinking, that yogurt, pudding, applesauce and pureed food doesn't have enough form to really stay above the band.

Thankfully now I feel I have a little more control.
