3 days post op and have head aches

I've been home for 24 hours and woke up with a massive head ache, took some percet which helped, but it came back about 1, so I took some Tylenol.  Has anyone else had this problem.  I've drank about 40 oz water so I keeping up on that.

I'm sorry that you're going through that.  Only advice I would give is to keep taking the pain meds as long as you need to and that things are bound to get better.  The first few weeks you will have lots going on with your body, but your body will adjust and you will be able to get on with life.

Did you used to drink alot of caffeine? If so, it could be a caffeine headache. My sister had them for about 1 week after surgery and would just keep taking her pain meds. The pain eventually subsided.

The other thing is maybe it is hormonal??

If it gets worse, it certainly doesn't hurt to check with your doctor.

Have a bit of coffee with your Tylenol...it will help. 

I had headaches after surgery too. The doctor told me to take liquid Tylenol and after a couple of days they went away. It may be a reaction to the anesthesia.

I did too. I took Tylenol and that seemed to help.
