Stomach Pain at night

Hi Everyone:
I am about  7 months out from my surgery and last night at 1Am woke up with pain, on what I would call the outside of my stomach, almost like stomach cramps but on the outside of my stomach (I know that sounds weird).  Just wanted to know if any one experienced this, I go to dr. next week for an adjustment and I plan on mentioning it to him.  I thought that maybe it may be gall bladder related.   This is the second time it has woken me up from a sound sleep.  I took motrin and it went away in like a half hour.

Any Thoughts?

Cindy

I'd mention it to the surgeon AND your general physician just to be on the safe side. That TOTALLY bites. I think the least they should do is an ultrasound to see if there are any stones...

Good luck babe!

 Hi Cindy,
Gall bladder usually causes pain on the right and radiates to the back.   Hard to say what it is.  Candace is right though.  Hopefully your doctor can figure it out!

You already know what fails.  You also know what works.    Pick one.

IMHO if you have a question, especially concerning a discomfort, talk to your Doctor. That's why they are there.

It's best to hear "Oh that's quiet common" then to hear "Why didn't you contact when that first occurred".
Good Luck on your Journey !!

Tom
