Karen,

You can find papaya enzyme either at Health food stores or on-line (ex Amazon).
Good Luck on your Journey !!

Of course none of us are promoting vomiting but as we all know, it happens when we eat too fast and don't chew properly; however, my coworker gave me a helpful tip for when my food is stuck and I'm just stuck sliming like some sort of zombie. She told me to take my arms and fold them around my belly and bend over the toilet and sure enough, I deliver the slime baby without trouble or incident and I feel so much better. I can't stand having to slime and PB for hours while I'm at work getting up every 5 minutes to spit that crap out. TMI, I know, but its the evil truth.

Left the band and rocking with RNY.
They say I have an eating disorder but I say, I have my eating in order.

When you get stuck, sometimes your body decides the way to get rid of the stuck thing is to produce saliva. ALOTOFIT. And, to me, it seems to be a bit thicker than regular spit. Or maybe that's just me.

It's not fun, but as the mom of 2 kids, Ican tell you there are meals where Idon't pay attention to every bite, and yes, it happens. Blech!

As far as being in public when it does, I pray for an empty bathroom - because I really prefer to spit in a sink. Or Ispit into TPin a stall.

I call it band voo doo!  i can eat one thing today and it goes down perfectly fine, then eat the exact same thing/amount etc tomorrow or next week and I get stuck its aggrivating.  the good thing is I have learned to STOP EATING AS SOON AS I FEEL IT!!  The slime thing was most embrassing when i was on a cruise (on the formal night) and it decided to come back up.............right when the lights went down and the entire kitchen staff came out to perform for the dinner guests.....of course the captian also made his speech right in front of our table, so i couldnt excuse myself to the restroom, i thought my mouth was going to explode,   I had NO IDEA my mouth could expand, then i started turning blue and my husband is going "babe r u ok" all i could do was smile and nod my head coz I could not speak or there would have been a slime explosion in my plate...........finally I gave in and bent over and spit FOREVER into my napkin..........i felt so bad for the guys who had to clean the tables off....im sure they have seeen worse, but that was my WORST experience.  and there was no reason fo rit happening!  had been eating slow etc............
Thank God I can laugh about it now, but at that moment.what i thought was going to be one of my finest hours-all dressed in evening gown etc...........i spit like a boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Yea!  but its all good! im thankful no one popped me on my back LOL  THAT would hve been really bad!!
Hang in there!!!!!!!!!!
