traveling by air
All great suggestions! I'll be going on a 5 hour flight in a few months and certainly want to carry a protein shake with me. I'm going to call the airline and see if they will take a doctor's note too. I will pack other solid stuff but I want one shake for the flight and don't want it counted toward my liquid amount. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Anyone flown since having the band? I will be flying out tomorrow for the first time since surgery and was wondering if there was any problems such as going though security to any problems at a higher altitude. Thanks
Enjoy the trip

Thanks everyone for the answers. I was thinking of trying the protein drink, but heard that they don't like liquids or gels. I did carry on 2 homemade protein bars in my laptop case. No problems getting though security. I think I will carry a couple more back with me on the return trip.
Again. thanks for answering.
