Some advice needed, please
i start pre-surgery liquids tomorrow- and for Optimum Nutrition's whey protein from GNC. it falls within my NUT's #'s, and tastes just like chocolate milk. with just a little shake, it dissolves completely, and is really good. i'm generally picky with powdered things.
and gnc says if it stinks, bring it back and you get a full refund.
we'll see how i feel in two weeks.. but for now, i'm considering it the chocolate milk diet!

Hey there...
The protein powders for me have been the biggest obstacle. I've tried several types and have found the Unjury brand the most tolerable, the strawberry sorbet mixed with water believe it or not is pretty good. All the big jug powders from the "vitamin shops" stink in my opinion! There is also a protein called Life Force that's a decent vanilla flavor www.lifeforce.net it has 17gm in 2 scoops...also try bariatriceating.com they have some decent things too.
hope this helps

I have never been able to drink the whey protein, have tried many many types with no luck. I have stuck with Carnation Instant breakfast mix, no sugar added comes in 3 flavors, mix with 8 oz skim or 1% milk and you have about 25g of protein and it is inexpensive and tatses soooo much better! Works for me
