Submitting paperwork to BCBS IL

Did you have to do the 6 month diet? If so are you 2lbs short after all you weigh ins? I was told they submit what you weighed at the start. Good luck and hope you get your approval.

Reached 1st goal weight 158 on 6/8/10, My Starting weight 235
Hit final goal of 145 10/25/10
Current weight 143

I have BCBS IL and I didnt have a certain amount of weight I had to lose, just a 6 month physician monitored weight loss program attempt. I was denied the first time they submitted and from what I understand this is par for the course with them. APPEAL APPEAL APPEAL!! Mine was approved after the first appeal. If they deny then, check into obesitylaw.com. My doc actually has them submit all the appeals and has great luck with them.
