Surgery Tomorrow

 Been a lurker here for almost a year. Officially signed up today. Surgery tomorrow in Boston. Here we go!

 Just got home. God I hurt so much. Didn't know it would be this bad. I had the roomate from hell last night also. He was on his cell phone until 1am and then started in again on the cell at 7am. Ridiculous!

Awwwwwwww I hate that you feel so bad. Hopefully you will get better in a few days.Take it easy and rest up, you are in for a ride. Good Luck

 Haven't taken a crap in 3 days. Sore as hell. Gas pain as well as incision pain. I know it will get better but my god I'm miserable right now. 

Hope you feel better real soon...........When you see those numbers go down on the scale it will cheer you up............

Sorry to hear that you are having  a tough recovery.  As far as the bm goes, I think the saying is "liquid in liquid out".  I don't think you have anything to pass if you are still on clear liquids.

Have you been walking?  It's definately helped me with the soreness and any gas. My DH just marched me around Lowes Home Improvement Store.  Not my favorite store, but warm and out of the elements so to speak. Most of  my soreness is from moving from a seated position to standing and vice versa.  Once I actuallly get moving, I feel okay

I also have been keeping an ice pack over my incisions and it feels good.    Have you tried that?
