Pain when coughing

I'm one week post op and went back to see my surgeon on Friday.    He laughed when I told him I think I can feel the band.    But really I can't feel the band as much as its sore where I think the band is.   Did anyone else experience this?   Like when you cough - there is soreness around where the band is?   or When you lay on your left side you feel a soreness there?   It's not the port because that is center right along my bra line.

I was sore for quite a long time. I had soreness mostly on my left side where my port is and coughing and sneezing were painful.  It's perfectly normal. 

I actually get pain now right under my left boob.  I think it's from eating too much.  Which I have done a few times lately.  Can't wait for my next fill!

I was sore too.  The band is center of your chest (between you boobs) and just below them, kind of where your bra goes.  I would have a tightness and pain there too with heavy breaths, coughing, sneezing after surgery.  It went away.  Now I get that pain if I don't chew well or eat too fast.  So, rest assured, it sounds normal.  :)
