HELP! GOING THE WRONG WAY

So I am one month out and eating puréed foods but slightly put back on a few pounds. I don’t want this! I just stared back at the gym and eating what my doc says, so I am lost on what to do. Please help me move the scale in the other direction.   Elyse

Hi Elyse,
Hang in there the weight will come off. Just remember until you start getting fills you are kinda on your own.  Keep doing what you Dr says.  Make sure you are getting your protein in. Sometimes our bodies go into starvation mode and tries to hang onto the fat. It also may be jus****er weight. Only weigh yourself once per week. 
(I know it is easier said then done, but stay off the scales.)

 I know the feeling. I'm two months out and still going up and down.. my weight fluctuates daily. I try to only weight myself once a week but it's hard not too. You want to see results.  

I also get encouragement from a co - worker who had the surgery and she told me the first few months it's SLOW but after that the weight just fell off her.  Here's hoping we are like that.

Your body is just adusting to all the dietary changes it's been going through.  Just keep working out and following the rules.  You'll have to be patient with the scale a little while.  :(

Elyse,

Don't be too concerned. I hear this is quite common with women - especially when it's around T.O.M. (no, not me). A lot of water weight..

If this continues to occur, contact your Doctor and/or Nutritionists. That's why there are there.
