I was told that I need to be on this board-HELLO!

So, do you actually have a band?  Fill me in a little on your surgery if you don't mind.  25 pounds in 7 weeks is really great.  That's 3 1/2 pounds a week average.  :D

Band patients are expected to loose 1 to 2 pounds a week and that is the  norm after you hit good restriction.  So, if you really follow the rules and exercise you can loose before restriction, but it could be touch and go.  Of course we all went into the band knowing it was a much slower loss compared to others, yet we all cry we are not losing fast enough.   I have tried to erase that from my mind and stop that because it don't do me know good (even though I was crying about it this week LOL).  I try to remember the end goal, which I know I will get to, and that ultimately it was living a new healhty lifestyle, which I am and feel great.  So, slow and steady wins the race around here.  :)

I use the Realizemysuccess site too and log my foods.  It took a little to get used to it, but I love it now and it keeps me very accountable.  I love going to bed each night knowing exactly what I ate and how much that day.  It just really helps me.

 That is a good idea... I am getting my band on  Wednesday... and am very much looking forward to it!!
