BANDED ON DEC 23rd!!

I was banded on Dec 23rd. I had an onQue pump that kept me numb the first three days. Now it's out, and the other night I was reaching to turn down my heater and I felt something "pop" right around where the largest incision and the port are located. Now it seems to ache all the time. I know there was one inner stitch, and I am wondering if anyone else experienced this kind of thing, and if there is a way to tell if you "popped" a stich. Any ideas?

All of my port discomforts have actually happened when bending over or reaching for something.  If your really nervous, just call your Dr.  I am sure it is fine and it's normal for you to have some pain in that area and be sore.  My port soreness started like a week after surgery.  I am 3 months + out now and notice if I do a lot of exercise or something strenuous I still have a little soreness, but it's very bearable.  Seriously though, if you worried...a call to the Dr will only take a few minutes and will probably give you peace of mind.  :D

Congrats on your surgery and band!  What a great way to start the New Year!
