I have had 1 fill and still don't have any restriction. I go in tomorrow for another fill and hope to have some restriction. I will let you know how it goes tomorrow.
I did some more reading of the info that the Dr's office/Hospital gave me and I did get a slightly full sensation when they installed the band in me, but the reason that I may be feeling hungry is because I have not yet had a fill. It wa s Dec 10 that I had surgery and Dec 18, I went to see the dr I had lost 12 pounds. Hopefully, I will have lost about 10 or 12 more when I go back in on Jan 18. I get plenty of exercise, and drink plenty of water too.
It really is so hard to answer and is completely different for some people. I didn't have any hunger at all for weeks and then did and then it went away, then I got a fill and didn't have any hunger and then none again right before my fill (my band loves playing mind games with me ). I have noticed the two bouts of hunger hit right at my TOM so the more time goes by and I am paying attention, I am learning these things, so it really is a process, so we have to be patient and not ru**** too much. :) I got my 2nd fill and am not having any hunger, and am full pretty quick. So, I'm at a good spot right now. My surgeon told me he thinks I am sensitve to the band since my hunger has been minimal in comparison to most. So, it really is person to person. Just listen to your body and give yourself time for you and your band to bond. It will happen. :)
