QUESTIONS:

(A) How much protein are you getting per day
(B) Are you drinking your allotment of liquids
(C) Are you following all the rules
(D) How soon are you drinking before/after each "meal"

 When I went to schedule my surgery, my doctors office gave me a packet of info...

Two weeks preop liquid...  3 liquid meals..with 3 snacks of 2 cups liquid and 1 cup nonstarchy veggies...(non calorie liquid or sugar free jello or broth)

For postop....2 weeks of liquid... getting 60 grams of protein per day... Each shake is 10-20...
So that would be 3 or 4 per day.... And no calorie liquids....
After 2 weeks  for weeks 3,4,5 I go to puree...  1/4 cup ...   60 grams of protein per day... Supplement with shakes if not able to eat..

A) TONS-LOL I don't have the actual amount written down(bad I know) but it is what my dr told me. B) Yes, I drink plenty of ice water-and occassional juice.C) Maybe a tad too much protien(bad I know) D) about a half hour   EXTRA CREDIT) I am so excited as I start exercise class tomorrow night! And I will go 4 times this week and 4 times next week for one hour each time. Jazzercise YAY!!

Hang in there, this is the toughest time I think.  It will get easier and you will learn what works for YOU and until you get your fills and restriction you just gotta go at it full force.  You can do it, you've made it this far.  :)

That always helps me, my monthly check ups and you can get a fill if your ready!  That will help too!

Have fun at the jazzercise, that sounds cool.  Way to go signing up for something like that.  That is really great!!!
