I had my band installed 12 hours ago

Like I explained, my surgery was Friday 12/18 a.m. with very little pain. Saturday pain level rose from a 1 to a 3. Sunday I am back to a level 1, so if your experience is similar, I would expect you to have a relatively pain free Xmas. Coughing or sneezing is painful so I try to avoid that. Situps are out of the question. I cycle 4000-6000 miles/year so I may resume indoor pedaling tomorrow. I have spent more time in bed than normal, but I attribute that to lack of energy from lack nourishment more than anything. The liquid diet is making me weak, but not terribly so. Best of luck with the surgery. It is no big deal, and have a wonderful and pain free Xmas. 

Good Luck tomorrow, Tracy!  I'm a Georgia girl too, and just cruising this site prior to making a decision about surgery.  I'm leaning towards going ahead with it, but still not 100% sure.  I hope you fell well enough to enjoy Christmas.  Please post as soon as you feel like it and let us know how things are going. CathyB
