Fill/Restriction Question
So, I got my 2nd fill and low and behold I have restriction. I now have 5 cc's in my band. My Dr. thinks I am sensitive too the band cause I didn't really have much hunger early on to begin with, I just could eat more then a bandster should, if I tried. So, he didn't think it would take much.
So, my question is...when you hit restriction or close to it, were you sore for a couple days in your chest? Sometimes are tom I get chest pain, like heartburn and I have figured out it is the TOM and it doesn't feel like that. It's like a little nagging pain, nothing bad or anything. It started yesterday, the day after the fill (Tues) and then I had it today too. I have been eating soft and mushy food to be careful but I was shocked by the way I felt. I can eat and drink though, so that is not an issue but I'm scared to do some chicken or meat. It's crazy how everyone say's you'll just know it when you have it and they were right. I have been able to chug my liquids and now I feel like I can almost feel it funneling. Is that weird? Anyway, I am just looking for comfort that this is all normal?

In days right after the fill, there could be some swelling, and that can cause the pain. So if you still feel like this after a few days, you may have too much restriction, and will need a little unfill.
Good Luck on your Journey !!

Thanks Tom! I do think that was what it was because it feels so much better today. One of my biggest fears was with dealing with the "too tight" issues, but I think this may be a good spot for me, for now. :)

Hi,
It is possible to be a tad bit too tight. Maybe if he were to remove .5cc it would make a world of differnce. I had my doc do that and it helped greatly. If your liquids are funneling then your solids would have a more difficult time getting throug even if u chew chew chew. After a few days if u still feel this sensation i would call the docs office and schedual a slight unfil.
Take care

Thanks so much for you reply. I was worried that might be the case, but I am happy to report I am feeling much, much better today. I think it was just a little sore and I am eating and drinking fine. I have slowed down on my drinking though, cause I probably do do that too quick.
