I've maintained my weight loss for over one year now!
I don't but my doctor's office sent me a patient card that I'm supposed to carry in my wallet that states what type of band I have and the serial number.

Doctor's office gave me a patient card to carry, so I went ahead and ordered a medical bracelet. I figured too that if something did happen, I may not be awake to tell anyone. Also I wear it as a constant reminder of my new lift style. Ordered one online, about $60, but they also engraved all of my information from the patient card, doctor's name and phone number.

Hi Randy,
How are you doing? Did you get you first fill? I went last Monday and got 4 cc.. I really can't tell any difference. I have only lost 2 lbs., and still getting hungry. I still limit only 3/4 to 1 cup of food per meal. I will have to check into the medical bracelet.

I did not get the fill. They give 3 cc the first time. Am scheduled for th 29th. Muscles under the port were too sensitive. Hurt after long drive thanksgiving weekend. I understand the hunger. Am at 2 oz protein and 1 oz veggies 3 times a day and 2 2 oz snacks.. I am down to only losing a pound a week. I do have to admit I do eat more, but I am not worried, that tightening will come later. When can you get another fill?

I see the surgeon on the 17th in the office. I will talk to him. He only does the fill under fluor in the hospital. I hope soon. I will keep you posted.

You know, it is interesting-- I never thought about it at all! My doc never mentioned it, and never even gave me a patient card. But a week ago I was in a really bad car accident. I am okay, but did go to the ER. It occurred to me, then, that maybe I should have something to alert doctors in case I cannot speak. I t took a close call to make me realize that this is probably really important, but I am definately investing in one, now!
