I am home today and banded.
I cannot believe its over and now onto my new banded life.
I am so glad my doctor makes you stay overnight, I was having pain issues from midnight till about 4 am. I had a really great night nurse who was checking in on me all the time.
I cannot wait to start full liquids soon.

I had surgery tues. also..I did go home and didnt have any issues until the secon night...I had to sleep in the recliner..Pain on left side...feeling really bloated and full..I am not hungry at all.. I have been walking, sipping....walking....keep in touch..Glad your doing great...The journey has begun....
I had surgery Monday (last) and also had discomfort...I couldn't get comfortable, couldn't sit, couldn't lie down...didn't know I was fighting the pain...however, I tried my pain meds and lo and behold I felt much better...but I have been walking, walking, walking...Also...no desire to eat whatsoever...I had 15 people for dinner on Thanksgiving, my prince of a hubby took care of everything, however I only felt left out for a minute....I sipped a V8....
I was very distraught when i came home...questioning my sanity, wanted to go back to the hospital and ask them to remove it...just shell shocked...what have I done?????
I am better now..its a week, tomorrow I start puree...which scares me too...I want to meet the protein guidelines and am finding it difficult...even with the drinks...it takes me forever now to finish one.
But onward we go....A new chapter in the book of our life.
