I'm having a super hard time with waiting 30-60 minutes after I eat to drink anything.  Does anybody have any advice or thoughts on that?

Not sure why your Doctor says 60 minutes after, but I have no issues waiting 30 minutes. No advice, except sooner or later you will get used to it.
Good Luck on your Journey !!

It was really hard for me at the beginning, but it gets easier.  As soon as I take my last bite I look at the clock and wait an hour.  Sometimes I will take a sip of something just to rinse it down but that is it.  LOL  Hang in there.

This is one area that i am concerned about.  Since my RNY I have had 7 kidney stones and now drink more than 3 liters a day to avoid further stones.  BUT I started drinking when I ate a long time ago.  This may have (likely) contributed to the dilation of the anastomosis and caused the neccessisty of having my Band over Bypass 3 days ago.  So......try your absolute best to wait at least 30 minutes after eating before drinking.....not doing so could be devastating to your post-op progress.
