5 Moths Post Op----30 LBS Down!!
Yes, I feel great. I have just accepted the fact that I am a slow looser. But, I am loosing a LOT faster then I would be if I didn't have the band, in fact I am certain I would have gained at least 10 by now.
I am sure my PCOS is playing a role in this, and I could be exercising more, but I haven't been. I only seem to loose around PMS and that is usually 2-3 pounds. So now instead of dreading pms, I look forward to it..lol...

They say the normal rate is 1-2 pounds per week (once you have restriction). Since you are about 2 months out, I suspect you have had only 1 fill by now. It usually takes several fills before getting to good restriction.
My last fill was on 8/31 putting me at 6cc's in an 11cc band. This is the longest that a fill has lasted me, so I have pretty good restriction now and hopefully won't need another one for another month or two.
Everyone is different. Some loose at a much faster rate. Some of it depends on how much you have to lose too. I also believe your body "goes into shock" and it takes a few months to figure out what to do (at least that is what I tell myself). When the body decides it is okay to let some pounds go, it will.
Hang in there and just take one day at a time. Good Luck!
