How long does it take to get to sweet spot with the realize band.  Im at 4 cc and still can eat more than I like.  Ive lost 13lbs and I'm a little over 2 months post op.

I am curious, too, but I think with each person it's definitely different. I got my first fill on Monday, 3 cc. I don't feel much different either, but I am just starting soft/mushy food. Thursday I should get to start on regular food again. My doc did tell me he wanted me in the green zone pretty quickly, so if by Friday, I feel I could eat a whole burger to set up another fill.

I hope it doesn't take us long to get to restriction! Good luck to you!!

I am at 7cc in my 11cc band IM starting to get pretty good restriction IM thinking another .5 to 1.5cc will definitely get me to the sweetspot.
My doc will give me a fill every 3 weeks
I can still eat more than I should  but I have to be very conscious of what I eat and try to avoid the slider foods.

I have 7ccs in my 11 cc band and have good restriction.  I do not get hungry.  I eat 3 small meals a day with no snacks.  I eat mostly protein and veggies and no more than 15 carbs per meal.  I am in the green zone as my doctor called it.  I am 4 months post op and have lost 42 lbs. since my surgery.  I feel great.

As you can see the sweet spot is different for everyone, mine is 6.5cc .  Took me a while to get there, we even went up to 7 at one point which was awful for me, way too much restriction.  I then had to go back to 6 for a month before going to 6.5.

Thank you for all of your responses.  I will just be patient and wait until I get into the green zone.  When I was initially banded I had prety good restriction after the first adjustment so I was a bit worried.  Thanks again for your response.
